日本飯店搶人才 連休10天貼六成旅費
日本知名溫泉觀光勝地：九州的別府市，外籍旅客年增率全日本第一，在當地掀起一股飯店興建的熱潮，也因此觀光業人才十分搶手。當地一間大型溫泉渡假村，為留住員工，增加徵才吸引力，做出大膽的勞動改革，每年初將整間飯店關門10天，就為了讓800名員工休假；如果參加員工旅遊，六成旅費由飯店埋單，罕見的作法在整個業界掀起話題。
日本大分縣別府市，是九州知名的溫泉鄉，2017外國人觀光客超過138萬人，以南韓 、台灣人最多 ，年增長率是全日本第一。

在外國觀光客快速增加的趨勢下，當地大興土木建設許多新飯店，包括全球最大飯店連鎖店(洲際飯店集團)也看好潛力，除了硬體設施，軟實力觀光人才更是炙手可熱。
洲際飯店集團日本CEO Hans Heijligers：「我們相信這個日本的特定區域，旅遊業發展潛力真的很大，可能超出預期。」
其中一間超人氣飯店「衫乃井」，在剛剛結束的黃金周10連休，647間客房全部客滿，忙碌的季節中，員工們士氣依舊高昂，因為公司在這之前，全公司約800名員工已經先集體休長假；今年一月中旬，本來人潮熙攘的飯店，黑漆漆的一片，整整關門10天，就為了讓高達九成以上的員工，能好好利用假期。
飯店員工：「早安！早安」
在這段期間，公司舉辦員工旅遊，前往關島，六成旅費由公司埋單。
飯店員工：「關島的海上活動很有趣，我想去游泳，為了參加這次旅行，過去一年真的很努力工作。」
像這樣的長假制度在日本飯店業實屬罕見，在實行的過去幾年當中，得到員工很高評價，讓其他同業眼紅。
飯店員工：「這次10連休也包括周六和周日，以前這些孩子們無法一起放假，現在可以一起去旅行。」
飯店員工：「真的休了很長的時間，現在很想工作。」
每年因為實施10天連休，衫乃井飯店營業額損失數億日幣，但這麼做都是為了留下人才，因為日本飯店餐飲服務業，離職率高達30%，是醫療業的兩倍(14.5%)，更遠高於製造業(9.4%)以及營造業( 8.4%)，如何收買員工的心，增加公司的徵才魅力，成為經營重點。
衫乃井飯店 總經理 佐佐木 耕一：「如果還用以前的方式，好的人才不會來，有了這種覺悟，沒別的選擇只好改。」
衫乃井飯店對今年春天的就職季，訂下徵才目標，希望應徵人數要增加1.5倍；舉辦徵才說明會，果然吸引了很多就讀觀光相關科系的大學生。
徵才說明會參加者：「我覺得很棒，全體員團購熱門產品活動產品工都能一起休假，對我來說很有吸引力。」
甚至是很多來自別府市以外的年輕人也有興趣，在當地競爭激烈的人才市場中表現不俗。
衫乃井飯店總務部長 廣瀨英司：「不只是同業(搶人才)，其他行業的也在爭取學生族群，說平起平坐是有點誇張，但終於在徵才上獲得武器(連休)，我們覺得很高興。」
在過勞的日本社會，衫乃井飯店的勞動改革，作法大膽卻也因此收到甜美的果實。
